• I have a clean installation of WordPress 6.2.2 with only the (non-PRO) Elementor 3.13.4 plugin activated using the Hello Elementor 2.7.1 theme. No caching is present. On desktop, everything looks and works fine. On tablet or mobile, the ‘hamburger’ menu does not show an arrow to display child items. Please advise.

Update: This problem is localized to the Elementor Hello Theme. When I go into the theme default kit additional settings, I make “Hello Theme Header & Footer” inactive and the navigation menu responds normally on mobile devices.

The problem is the Elementor Hello Theme.
Changing to any other theme, in my case Twenty Twenty by the WordPress team, fixed all menus to work properly.
