I’ve seen a lot of people answer questions similar to this one, but I have yet to be able to fix this with a JavaScript snippet. To better understand, here is how I built my navigation menu:
-OceanWP theme (header is turned off in the Customize settings)
-Built the menu using the free plug-in called “Elementor – Header, Footer & Blocks” by Brainstorm Force. This generates a shortcode that I pasted into a text editor widget in the column that is my menu.
-“Sticky Menu (or Anything!) on Scroll” plug-in keeps the navigation bar stationary as you move down the page. Here is the “sticky element” in the settings of this plug-in: #main > div > div > div > section.elementor-element.elementor-element-70e9cb3.elementor-section-full_width.elementor-section-height-default.elementor-section-height-default.elementor-section.elementor-top-section

As you can see, the mobile menu does not collapse when a menu item is selected. The site is responsive, so you can test this on desktop, tablet, and/or mobile, but the results are the same across all devices. Obviously, the issue here is that the menu covers up the content behind it after a selection is made. I have tried many snippets of JS code from other threads, but none have worked. Has anybody experienced this using something similar to my setup?

Also, there is a likely chance that one of the snippets of JS code would have worked if I knew how to edit it properly and call out the correct element, but after hours of banging my head against the desk, I’m reaching out for help!! Thank you in advance everyone ??
