Hi! I′ve been trying to fix this for WEEKS.

Whenever I create a post using elementor, I choose the body font I want (josefin sans) and everything′s fine, even when I see the preview it shows that font, but when I publish it, it changes to a default font.

I′ve tried everything: checking plugin for plugin (that′s why I know it′s elementor), changing the theme default font, cleaning the cache, rolling back to older versions, I even bought the Pro version of astra, EVERYTHING, but nothing works.

The post link I′m sharing is one of the many I have (all with the same problem), the whole site is fine how it is, I don′t need to change the fonts, but I do need it for my posts.

Please, please, if someone knows what I can do I′d really appreciate it. Thank you!

    Theme: Astra Pro

    hi,

It might be a conflict with your theme or plugins,

Please follow these steps, and let me know if it solved your issue:

    – Deactivate all of your plugins except Elementor. If this solves the problem, gradually activate your plugins one by one, until you spot the problematic plugin.

    – switch your WordPress theme to WordPress TwentySixteen (or other default WordPress theme) temporarily – and see if it solves your error.

I hope this information helped you.

    Hi @logankuh thanks for replying!

Already did that with the plug-ins and nothing, that’s why I think is elementor. The only thing I haven’t tried is changing the theme because wouldn’t that crash my site or affect everything? I’m a little afraid hehe

    hi,

I can recommend Making a Backup for your site (https://elementor.com/blog/backup-wordpress/) Before Changing the Theme. The Theme Change should only Affect the layout of the page.

Hi @logankuh sorry for the delay! I changed the theme but nothing, the same problem happens. Looks good in elementor but once published the font just goes away.

    Hi,

It seems that you have Chaching and minified files. Please disable him to completely disable it and see if it helps.

Hey @logankuh sorry for the delay again, what is that? is that a plugin?

    hi,

As we don’t have access to your System info we cannot see exactly from where the issue is coming from, all we can see is that the CSS was loading from minified files, please try to disable your plugins or ask your hosting to disable the caching plugin.

Hey @logankuh it′s fixed!! It was, in fact, a pluging that helped cleaning the cache and those things to make the site faster, it did nothing when I deactivated it, but the probelm was solved when I completely deleted it. I don′t know if that′ll affect something or make it slower, but I just wanted the fonts back and now I have them.

I′m really sorry for this, but thanks for taking the time, I really appreaciate it!
