Elementor is not working in other roles except “Administrator”. I’ve tried everything from deactivating all plugins, increasing php memory, updating wordpress etc. I just don’t understand why I can edit with elementor in Admin role but when I try and create a user account with the Editor role or any of the other roles, I get nothing but a white screen. Please help.

What theme are you using? I just tried this using OceanWP and it worked fine. This was also on Firefox, Edge provided an error that it was not compatible with Elementor features.

Im using the theme MAKE. Ive tried using the “editor” role in firefox, safari and chrome and the same issue…. not allowing me to edit the site with an “editor” role, only the “administrator” role. I need to hand this over to a client so they can help fill in the content since this is a huge site. Really frustrated that the role manager isn’t working….

    Hey @stacy715,
Are you still having trouble with the roles?
Have you tried changing your site theme to see if the issue is related to MAKE?
    Let me know!

It’s not working on different themes, even OceanWP and Astra didn’t work…but…
It’s because some other elementor plugins sometimes cause this misbehaviour. For example: If I use just elementor and elementor pro in most cases it works fine. If I have other plugins like Elementor Extras, Elements Plus! Essential Addons for Elementor and so on, it happens that I just get a white screen in all those different user roles, except as Administrator. Therefore you have to kick out one by one to see, which plugin is simply “too much”.

That said. I would love to have a monitor, where you actualy could see all the plugins you really are using, when the page is finished. So you sometimes try out different plugins (especially in elementor) and never deactivate those, even though you don’t use them anymore…
Is there a way to do that? Most of the time I end up deactivating one plugin after the other one and constantly checking the page, if something’s missing…
Hope someone knows what I mean ??
