Elementor overriding my Blocksy footer settings

    I am having the worst time trying to figure out what is causing my footer to inherit strange colors from Elementor. The Blocksy devs say that it has to do with Elementor.

    I have tried everything I know to prevent Elementor from overriding the links settings in my Blocksy customizations, but it’s no use. The color that is being applied to the links in my footer is not even in my Blocksy color palette but I can’t figure out where it is coming from. Can someone please help me prevent Elementor from tampering with my Blocksy footer, until I want it to? What should I do. Thank you

    By the way, I have already

    • deactivated all plugins except Elementor
    • gone into Elementor>settings>disable colors and fonts…checked them both but that did nothing
    • regenerate CSS
    • sync library
