• I recently installed the Ultimate Member Plugin to help with building a content restriction portion of our website and I am able to initially build a page using the Elementor Page Builder but then when I return to the page to edit, it is saying that the Content Section of the Page is missing.

When I disable the Ultimate Members Plugin I am able to get in and do the edits but this means that I have to basically take the site into maintenance mode just to do simple edits.

Any idea what I need to do to resolve this?

    Using the Generate Press Theme

    Hi @iamkrispy2,

Can you please clarify, do you have this issue when the Ultimate member shortcode is added on the page or it happens on all pages?

    Regards.

It happens on all pages…sorry the reply got lost in the plethora of forced subscribed forum topics. I have since uninstalled the plugin and will not return.

I am having a related issue with UM and Elementor in the Twenty Seventeen Theme. For example, the UM shortcode on the Members Directory page [ultimatemember form_id=345] is only visible in the default WP editor. When I switch to the Elementor edit screen, the shortcode is no longer visible and the Elementor section itself is hidden and only revealed on mouseover. If I attempt to add an Elementor section above or below the UM section, it defaults to an Elementor 2-column layout which cannot be changed. Elementor works as expected on WP pages without UM shortcode, but it doesn’t behave on pages that contain UM shortcode.

Good morning, I found a BUG in using Elementor Page Builder in conjunction with its Plugin: When UM is active and I enter the Editor Page Builder edit area, the native WordPress Administration bar is visible, which makes it difficult to make any changes to the layout. I would like to know if you are aware of the BUG and if there is any solution for this. See you later.

I am having the exact same issue, Icons (FontAwesome) that are bundled with Elementor do not work and also experience the same with the WordPress admin bar displaying when editing in Elementor. I confirmed by deactivating all plugins, have default WP 2017 Theme and Elementor works correctly, except when activist Ultimate Member is when the issues above and mine happen. Thanks!
