Elementor page editor not showing content

  • Hello.

    I have a problem with this plugin.
    I use WP 5.4, theme Hestia 3.0.4.
    Elementor, Elementor PRO, Polylang and Polylang Connect for Elementor the latest version.

    When I use this plugin I can create and edit multilanguage templates, footers and heders and other templates it is all ok.

    But if I want to edit any of my pages, created with Elementor, where I use Polylang plugin for transletion of pages, I must disable this plugin Polylang Connect for Elementor, because the content of all pages in Elementor does not show any elements it is just blank page.

    I tried to switch page template to Defult, I tried with the defult Twenty seventeen theme and it is the same issue.

    Any ideas?

    Hi Brad,

    when do you think you can push the update? Since elementor 3.0.1 I think everything is buggy. I created a new website and I am stuck with nonstop headaches.

    If i want to edit template content I need to disable your plugin and reenable it once i have edited everything so wordpress connects the translated pages.
    For normal elementor pages the editor is stuck in loading and for templates like the footer i get the following error
    “Sorry, the content area was not found in your page.

    You must call ‘the_content’ function in the current template, in order for Elementor to work on this page.”

    Hope you can make it compatible again

    Its very odd, I just cannot seem to replicate this issue.

    Are you sure you have no duplicator plugins installed?

    No I dod not do an update to Elementor 3.x.?

    Like I said I have a Polylang plugin installed, it is basically duplicating pages when translating, but I do not have any other duplicate plugin installed.

    I will write back whit the results when I make my 3.x update on a page and let you know if the issue is still there.

    I did an update to Elementor 3.x and the problem is gone.
    Now it is showing content.
