    Hello

I was able to set all my needed notifications for posts, however I am struggling to receive notifications for Elementor-based pages updates.

I tried to set a notification with post type set to “Page” + with a previous state set to “all selected” and new state to “published”… but nothing is triggered when I click on “Update” button on Elementor interface after page ua pdate. Same if I choose “all selected” for new state & “all selected” for post type

Same kind of issue on Events side (I am using Events Manager) – nothing is triggered, should I select “Events” as post type and/or the events taxonomies.

Does anyone is able to help me on this one ?

    Thanks
    Matt

Note: mail part is working fine & there is nothing in the Notifications Log section, so it seems not trigger is done on elementor update.

    Hi @msevestre

    Thanks for using PublishPress.

We do have a troubleshooting guide to notification that is worth working through, starting with the the Aysnc option: https://publishpress.com/knowledge-base/troubleshooting-notifications/

    Hi

    Thanks.

I had a look to that already before posting.

I gave a try to async already, with no change. But as article and event-related notifications are working perfectly (and our site is really low traffic), it would have been surprising to have it being the reason behind the issue.

It really looks like more as a notification trigger issue than a notification sending issue, as the Notification Log does not show any Page notification listed (I assume if it was an issue of sending, it would appear in this Log anyway).

Is PublishPress supposed to work with a page update (ie : no change in page status) through Elementor ? (I set “all” as previous & new status, so I assume it should work…)

    Matthieu

Note: I fond the issue for the Events – was a mistake from me.

    Hi @msevestre

I tested this morning with basic pages, then pages with Elementor, and with the Events Calendar plugin. All worked successfully.

We do have Pro support available for help in debugging your site: https://publishpress.com/publishpress

Alternatively, I’d recommend continued testing and perhaps disabling other plugins quickly to see if they are blocking the notification.

    Hi

    thanks.

I already disabled everything out of PublishPress and Elementor… with no change, unfortunately.

    Thanks @msevestre

Sorry, there’s not much more I can suggest when it comes to Free support here on www.ads-software.com.

There may be something in your Elementor setup that’s blocking the notification. If you want to stay as a Free user, the best option is continued experimentation to try and find what’s causing the issue.

    Sure, no worries.

I’ll dig more on my side and switch to Pro in case I have no more ideas left ??

Changing a thing on the Page editor on WordPress side triggers a notification… issue is really Elementor sided.

    Regards
