Elementor & PHP 8.1

Please why can’t I install the elementor pluggin?

Hi

I’m using Elementor 3.17.1, free Version. Since 3.16.x i don’t see Sections and Columns in the Elementor Editor. Under the label Layou I only see Container. I already built successfully new pages with containers. But I heard to not using containers in live websites.

What can I do, that still can work with Sections and Columns ?
Is it true, that Containers we shoulden’t be used in leve websites?

Firstly:

If your server continues to use older PHP versions when Elementor raises the minimum required PHP version, your website will remain functional. However, as mentioned above, you won’t be able to upgrade to newer Elementor and WordPress versions.

Well… it’s hard. I have several websites using a newer WP version than 6.3.2 having issues with the most recent Elementor version and PHP 8.x.

So updating to PHP 8.x using Elementor breaks sites, even though it is recommended. I don’t get it.

Solution for me (terrible, but don’t have a better one for now):
Downgrade to PHP 7.4 while using the newest versions of WP and Elementor.

If somebody comes up with a better (working) solution, please feel free to share. Thanks a lot.
