Elementor Slider won’t autoplay/work right

First and foremost try to identify what is breaking things by just disabling CSS or JS or HTML or Image optimization (incl. lazyload). Based on that we can see what the next steps need to be ??

I deactivated everything and now it seems to work.

I think JavaScript is the problem because I activated CSS, HTML and lazy load without the problem reoccurring.

These are excluded from Autoptimize: wp-includes/js/dist/, wp-includes/js/tinymce/, js/jquery/jquery.js, js/jquery/jquery.min.js

OK, so do things work when “aggregate JS” is disabled?

Yes I unchecked that and it works. So is this the solution?

well, as a next step you can try switching to “don’t aggregate but defer” + optionally “also defer inline JS”.

“Do not aggregate but defer?” doesn’t work but with “Also defer inline JS?” it works. Is that it?

Can I leave the settings like that?

if testing confirms everything works then yes you can leave the settings as they are now (you might even be able to remove any exclusion left in the JS optimization exclusion field).
