    Hi. I have an issue with the Cookiebot plugin and my website global header. For some reason, my header only shows after I have accepted all cookies with the Cookiebot plugin. I cannot identify the issue. Hope someone can help.

    Hi

    I noticed that the Cookiebot script is included twice on your website.
    If you use the Cookiebot plugin, the plugin will automatically place the script on your website.

    You can find more info here: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/cookiebot/#installation

    As for the issue with the header, I noticed that an elementor mouseclick event and fade-in event is interfering with the visibility of the header.
    Elementor sets the header to visibility: hidden and a negative margin-top, so the header is not visible. If you have some animations set, maybe you can try to disable them to test if the issue still occurs.

    I advice you to also create a support ticket on the cookiebot support, so they can further investigate the issue.

    kind regards
    Wendy

    I just heard back from the Cookiebot team. You can currently bypass the issue by setting your cookie consent to manual in stead of automatic.

    Hi Wendy,

    Thank you very much for your help. I disabled my animations in the header and it worked.

    Best regards,

    @craew Hi
    I hope you can answer my question, which is in the same category as threadstarters.

    If we want to fulfil the GPDR requirements and keep the cookiebot on automatic and block necessary cookies, because we can’t block every cookie(like Elementor) on manual.

    Is there anything we or you can do with Elementor, to solve these Cookiebot/Elementor problems.

    We have several similar problems with animation, sliders etc. which get blocked on automatic Cookiebot, even though the neccessary cookies are accepted, it’s required to accept all cookies, before the sliders will work.
