    Hi,
This is a tricky one. I’ll give it my best to explain.

    PHP Version: 8.1.5
    Complianz | GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent – 6.1.5
    Elementor – 3.6.4
    Elementor Pro – 3.6.5

I want placeholders to show over Elementor video widgets with Youtube (the placeholders show as expected over normally iframed Youtube videos). To do that I have to enable Elementor in the Integration section of Complianz. But when enabled the placeholders show but I get errors in console and the testimonial sliders I have that should showing 4 testimonials at a time, suddenly show one testimonial full width.

    All the best

    Hi @argentum,

I understand. I will try to reproduce the issue, and see what we can do.

The issue is that Elementor uses frontend-modules.js with many functionalities, including scripts we need to control before consent. The integration tries to handle this with care, but it’s hard to control fully if there are dependencies. In this case apparently a slider.

Does it work after consent? With or without reload? Let me know, so we can see what we can do.

I just tested. Enabled the Elementor integration. Deleted allt the cookies. Reloaded the page. The placeholders show. I click it. And reload the page. The testimonial carousel still throws the errors.

This is the slider widget you meant? I don’t have any issues, so maybe we have to look further. Do you have a URL where the problem persists?

    regards Aert
