Feb 8, 2021 I had an unusual access to our website files, the item come up in live traffic and wecsent it to our security support people, they said this:

Quote: “So it looks like Elemetor isn’t working properly and is trying to load a CSS file in some cases that doesn’t exist and you can ask their support about it.”

    The logs show this:
    https://MyWebsite.com/wp-content/uploads/elementor/css/global.css?ver=1612130527

We don’t wish to show our website name but if you have another email I can send it to you We use the Ocean-WP theme, with no changes to code, no child theme,
    Thanks for your help.

Hello Again: I got an update from security on this CSS issue with elementor plugin:
    Quote:

“It looks like the Elementor plugin is malfunctioning because another Elementor CSS file is loaded when I load your home page, but with a different query string version number.”
This is very puzzling, can some one help please? Why is it loading a different query string, how to fix this? Thank you.

Still no answers. Can support respond to this problem?

    Our security says today:
” Only Elementor can offer an explanation as it is their file. ?It appears that the CSS file is supposed to load but WordPress is trying to load that CSS file but with an incorrect query string version number of that file.”

Why is CSS not working with WordPress loading of CSS files? Why are query string versions not correct?

    Hi,

Since you are using our Pro features on your website, you’ll need to open a support ticket at my.elementor.com.

www.ads-software.com rules state that commercial products are not supported here.

Um No. I do not have the Pro- Version, I have the free version and this is the only forum where I can post problems and issues with Elementor Plugin.
You still need to respond to the question.

No response as to why Elementor Plugin ( free version) is loading the wrong global CSS file, with the wrong version string.

    Hello,

Can you please share some screenshots?
