elementor UI is not english anymore

    i’m using polylang to start a deutsch/english version of my site however now the elementor UI is only showing in deutsch and i cannot seem to get an english version even though wordpress is showing in english. I have set wordpress to english and updated the translation in the dashboard. wordpress is showing in english but elementor is in german which is not ideal for me to work with.

    well its definitely to do with Polylang because when i switch the language to English as primary language then Elementor switches to english but this is a problem as the english site is not contructed yet. Surely there should be a way of setting the editing language ?
