Elementor widgets printed visibly

    Hello,

    After updating to the latest WooCommerce version somehow Elementor widgets are printed visibly. I had contact with WooCommerce, showed them the logs but they are unable to solve the problem jet and ask me to contact you.

    Hope you can help me out here.

    Hello,

    – elementor widgets are printed visibly after updating to woocommerce
    – woocommerce is unable to solve it and asked me to contact you
    – if i disable woocommerce plugin the site is back to normal
    – debugging is set to true

    I was waiting a few days for you to reply but yesterday I thought that it won’t happen this weekend so I activated maintenance view and disabled it a minute ago.

    You are now able to visit the website once again and see the issue yourself ??

    I would like you to try the following steps:

    1. Go to Elementor > Settings on your WordPress dashboard.
    Click the Advanced tab and then switch the CSS print method to Internal embedding.

    2. Regenerate the CSS via Elementor > Tools > Regenerate CSS on your WordPress Dashboard.

    3. Clear all cache: your browser’s cache, other plugins’ cache, server cache (if possible).

    4. If the issue persists, deactivate all plugins apart from Elementor. If this helps, reactivate them one by one to find the culprit.

    5. If this didn’t help, switch your theme (temporarily) and see if it makes any difference.`

    Hi @michellei,

    I’ve done these things alread… woocommerce was the culprit but their support coul;dn’t figure out and send me to you… If i deactivate woocommerce today nothing changes, swithcing themese, same thing. However, Elementor debugger points me to canvas.php, thats the editor where the site is still viewed as normal

    Please help me out here.

    .. Sry, deactivated Woocommerce still seems to fix it but what can you do in order to point out to Woocommerce what is going on?

    Isn’t it the woocommerce widget offered in the elementor editor that is causing the problem?

    Hello,

    Could you please tell me something like “we are working on it” or “we are investigating the problem and get back to you as soon as possible” or anything else I could check?

    So far I did the following:

    – roll back to woocommerce previous version
    – roll back to previous elementor version
    – set CSS prinmt-methode to internal embedding
    – regenerating CSS and files
    – emptied all chacing (plugins, wordpress and host)
    – requested backups from several dates and repeated the steps above
    – generate a new .htaccess
    – checked on 3 different php versions if that would change anything
    – searched other topics for similiar problems
    – searched the internet for similiar problems
    – im able to access elementor in safe mode

    – this is what I could find in the logs on FTP-server:

    [access_compat:error] [pid 26181] [client ……………] AH01797: client denied by server configuration: /home/public/sites/www.aeipaint.nl/wp-content/uploads/woocommerce_uploads/, referer: https://www.aeipaint.nl/wp-content/uploads/woocommerce_uploads/

    Only disabling woocomerce solves the problems, and the woo carousel widget comes with the plugin “essential addons for elementor” but when I disable the plugin there is still an error where elementor widget code is printed visibly on the website.

    Hopefully this post will not be seen as another bump but more of a cry for help…

    Update:

    Somehow the visible elementor code dissappeared today. Don’t know how that happen.
    The issue with the Woocommerce plugin breaking the theme/elementor still persists.

    Hi, please temporarily deactivate all ongoing experiments in the experiments tab. Go to Elementor > Settings > Experiments tab and make sure all the experiment indicators are inactive.
