Elements of Child theme no longer working after upgrade

  • I have just updated WordPress to 3.8.3 and I have noticed that css elements of my child theme are no longer overwriting the main theme.

    For example, my menu bar has gone back to the default color, but the hover color is still the same color from my child theme. Also, all of the button colors have gone back to the default colors.

    It was all working fine before the upgrade. I have not changed anything, except the wordpress version updated automatically.

    Does anyone know how to resolve this please?

    If you’re upgrading from a very old version of MB then you have to rewrite your CSS to use the new class and IDs names.

    My MB version is 3.0.4- I only installed it a few months ago. I have only upgraded wordpress, not the theme MB.
