ElementsKit 3.2.3 update broke WordPress admin dashboard
-
Hey Support!
I recently updated ElementsKit from 3.2.2 version to 3.2.3 version, as soon as I did the update, the site’s dashboard page i.e. https://my-site/wp-admin/ started redirecting me to the 404 Page Not found page after I logged in successfully. What’s strange is that I was able to see the top bar WordPress menu so I clicked on one of the tabs/buttons i.e. Yoast SEO, and that page opened, similarly all the other pages like plugins.php were accessible too. Just the /wp-admin/ page was inaccessible.
I tried resetting the .htaccess file, that didn’t work, then I switched the theme to a default one, that didn’t work either, then I disabled the plugins one by one, when I disabled ElementsKit, the issue was resolved.
So, I am certain that ElementsKit caused this issue on the site. Please let me know if there’s anything we can do from our side or another plugin update will be released to resolve the issue.
In case the issue needs to be recreated – I am using Blocksy theme and Elementor page builder.
Thank You!
