    Thanks for the great theme.

Not sure if this is the place to submit a bug but didn’t know where else to go…

On a fresh install, the ellipsis menu icon (\f476) seems to be broken.

It looks like you have bundled genericons v3.0.3, but the ellipsis icon was not added until version 3.1 according to the release notes (https://genericons.com/releaselog/).

Hi there, I just installed a fresh copy of Hew and I can see the ellipsis at the top right, which opens the widget panel. Is that the ellipsis you’re referring to or a different one? Would you be able to provide a link to your site so I can take a look directly? Thanks!

Hey kathryn – yes, that is the icon i am talking about. That is very strange that it is working fine for you.

I am working a local dev site so I don’t have a link to share at the moment.

I did notice that the wp.org theme preview seems to be having the same problem, but the wp.com theme demo does not.

Here is a gallery of everything i am seeing for reference: https://imgur.com/a/0i4l8

Thanks for those screenshots. I do see the ellipsis missing from the www.ads-software.com theme preview so even though I can’t replicate this (I’m not sure why!) I’ve gone ahead and reported this to our developers for further investigation. We’ll keep you posted here – thanks for letting us know!

Hew has been resubmitted to www.ads-software.com with the latest version of Genericons bundled – you should see this fixed in the next update.

The reason I wasn’t able to replicate the issue is that I was running the Jetpack plugin, which bundles the latest Genericons, so if you need a workaround, activating Jetpack would do the trick. ??

    Thanks again for the report!
