email identification before loading an attachment

    Hi,
    I am looking for a solution that:
    – request an identification (name + email) prior to loading an attached PDF file (i.e. something similar to posting a comment),
    – and keep a log of name + email + uploaded file ID.
    I have seen some good plugins that restrict access to attachments to registered users, but I was not able to find one that only request the identification (not registration) of guest.
    Can someone help?

    Hi,
    I have found Email Before Download, which in combination with Contact Form 7 and Download Monitor.
    Not sure that it is 100% WP3.3.1 compatible, but it fills more or less my expectation.

    I’m glad you were able to find our plugin. We have recently installed on WP 3.3.1 and verified we are working. Please let us know if you have any issues/suggestions.
