Email notifications work with the free version.

It’s not a problem on a Bookly side. Looks like this is a server-side issue because Bookly doesn’t send any messages independently, it uses native “wp_mail()” function to do this. Please, contact your hosting provider and ask him to send you own external SMTP server to easily configure it.

@massimo1985 which version were you using? Try using 17.5

What email is supposed to send the notifications for approval or to clients?
I have tha last version and have the same issue

A quick answer to your question is that a few of the hosting providers restrict and don’t allow sending notifications from another domain. So, for example, if your domain name is https://www.example.com, your sender email address should be from [email protected].
