    I’m getting the following message:
Message rejected: Email address is not verified. The following identities failed the check in region US-EAST-1: BackUpWordPress

Email Sending Plugin: Postman SMTP Setup -> Testing working fine.

Pls suggest how & where should I debug.

    Thanks

Is this from the email you’re attempting to send after a backup is run? I’m confused because I haven’t seen this come up before. Can you clarify for me?

    Thanks,

    Yes, on this link:
    /wp-admin/tools.php?page=backupwordpress

I tried again just now, the above message is not displayed at this time.
Notification email is not received as well.

Email Sending Plugin: Postman SMTP Setup -> Tested again, working fine.

    Thanks

Okay – I’m going to check on a couple things on my end, but might need to have you contact the dedicated support as this is a unique issue I haven’t seen before. I’ll try and get back with you with more info either way by later today.

Okay I asked one of our developers who is familiar with different server issues for some more information, and it looks like this might be something a bit more involved. His response:

…it looks like he’s using AWS’ Simple Email Service to send emails and hasn’t verified the email set up with SES. He’ll need to log into AWS’ web console to verify the email: https://console.aws.amazon.com/ses/home?region=us-east-1#verified-senders-email: If any of the emails listed there don’t have verified in green text next to it, that’s the problem

    Relevant AWS docs: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/ses/latest/DeveloperGuide/ses-errors.html

Email address is not verified. The following identities failed the check in region <region>: <identity1>, <identity2>, <identity3>—You are trying to send email from an email address or domain that you have not verified with Amazon SES. This error could apply to the “From”, “Source”, “Sender”, or “Return-Path” address. If your account is still in the sandbox, you also must verify every recipient email address except for the recipients provided by the Amazon SES mailbox simulator. If Amazon SES is not able to show all of the failed identities, the error message ends with an ellipsis.

Let me know if that helps?
    Thanks!
    Kat
