Email addy collection?

  • Hi! I had been having all kinds of problems with another downlaod plug-in and am enjoying the ease with which this functions. I just have one question. Is it possible to require users to submit an email addy before receiving access to the download? If so, can you tell me how to set that up? Our site doesn’t have a formal members sign-in, but I’d like to use our downloads to build our mailing list.

    Hi Marie,

    Thanks for the feedback. Again, this a feature that is going to be added in the way of a small extension to Delightful Downloads. It’s actually the first of many I have planned, but the development cycle takes time, so it’s going to be a while I’m afraid.

    Thanks so much for your quick response. Looking forward to this new feature. In the mean time, do you know of a user friendly members plug-in that plays nicely with Delightful Downloads?
