email alert purchase

  • Hi, so i just realized i had one purchase from 10 days ago which from i have never been notified because paypal payment wasnt received. i just found out about the purchase when i entered the wp-admin panel.
    So how can i arreange that? its very important to me to be email notified after every purchase even if payment not received so that i can contat customer for further explanations.

  • Have you set your email properly in WooCommerce settings??

    go to :

    yoursite.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wc-settings&tab=email

    and check what is the Recipient(s) Email set for NEW ORDER emails.

    Hi? yes its well setted actualy i received other purchases. only the one which payment was not processed i didnt receive. the question is why woocommerce wouldnt email me about someone trynig to purchase. maby they just mistaked in paypal so the trasfer was not completed but they took time to complete all personal details of puerchase so i guess they where tryng to buy..i could have get in contact with this potential customers

    AFAIK woocommerce sends you an email whenever an order is created, as you said you can see the order in the backend that means something else went wrong for which the email was not delivered. But even after that if you have the order you should also have details about the customer within the order.
