    Hello,

Email alerts on successful logins has stopped working for a site I am managing. We have two instances of wordpress on the same server, a test site and the live site. Email alerts are working for the test site, but not the live site.

I have tried the following with no success:

-Rotating the API keys, as this was my initial hunch. This got the training site working, but not production.
    -Deactivating, and reactivating the plugin.
    -Deleting and reinstalling the plugin.

Please advise as to the next steps in debugging.

    Thank you

    Hi there,

First, the API key is tied to the domain (or subdomain), so swapping keys is not recommended. Are other WordPress emails working for your live site? Do you receive other Sucuri plugin alerts, failed logins?

You can check the SUCURI_DATA_STORAGE path in Site Info -> Config Variables. Is the path what you expect? Are the files in the sucuri folder accessible?

    Thanks for replying!

Yes we still receive other email, and “Post Update” messages from Sucuri. I changed the keys for both sites, that did not seem to solve the issue.

I do not see a SUCURI_DATA_STORAGE variable on that page. In Settings -> General the “Data Storage Path” is the following:

    /home/$SITE_NAME/public_html/wp-content/uploads/sucuri

This seems reasonable and does not conflict with the test site on the same server. The files seem to exist and be writable according to that page. I am going to try turning on debugging at the WordPress level and repeat the error in order to see if I get more information.

    Regards,

Hello @fcoburnrv please install the development version of the plugin from here [1] and let us know if the problems that you are having in your website are resolved. During the last seven months we have included multiple optimizations in the code that may address the issue with the login notifications. I will mark this ticket as resolved, but feel free to re-open if the issue persists.
