    Hi,

    I will buy the Pro version of you plugin but I wanted to try it before to see that it suits my needs so I installed the free version. The only problem I have is that I can not get the fields of name and email to appear. When I try the chat on a mobile phone there are two fields but no place holder (even though I did write something in the “Input Field Replacement Text”). When I try the chat on a computer it does not ask for email and name at all. I use Chrome. Any idea of why this happens? (my website: kontorskraft.se)
    Thanks a lot.

    Any suggestion on this? I would really appreciate some support on this matter to be able to take the decision if I should buy the pro version or not.
    Thanks.

    Hi there.

    So sorry for only getting back to you now.

    The name and email address fields can be displayed by going to ‘Live Chat’ -> ‘Settings’ and ensuring the checkbox labelled ‘Require user details’ is checked.

    Does this help at all?

    Hi,

    Thanks for getting back to me. It was is already checked. So the problem is that the placeholder does not show, which means that the visitor wouldn’t know what to put in the fields. When I wrote first time the fields did not appear at all, they do now but without text.
    Where it says “Input Field Replacement Text” do I need to write it in a certain way?
    thanks.

    Hi there.

    The input field replacement text refers to the text that is displayed should you not require your visitors to enter a name and email address (That text replaces the input fields).

    Should your placeholders not show up, this is likely caused by a styling conflict – would you mind sending me a link to your site so that I can look into this for you?

    Hi,

    Of course, here is the link: https://www.kontorskraft.se

    Please let me know if you find out why it isn’t working. Thanks.

    Hi there.

    Please add the following CSS to the bottom of your theme’s stylesheet and let me know if this helps?

    #wp-live-chat input::-webkit-input-placeholder, #wp-live-chat textarea::-webkit-input-placeholder {
        color: #60686e !important;
    }
