email and spam plug ins

  • Does any one have suggestions for a good compatible email subscriber/commenter plug in? I tried Mail Chump and it locked up the customizer. I had to deactivate it.

    I am also looking for a spam protection plug in. I tried Anti Spam by Clean talk and it too locked up the customizer.

    Akismet is not for commercial use so that is out.

  • Akismet can be used on commercial sites, you just need to pay for a Pro/Plus subscription.

    Yes, I know. I’m working on a shoe string right now and using my funds for other essentials.
