The email block at the bottom of my web page isn’t sending the customer emails. I’m not sure if the person who put the site together for me even set an address for the traffic to go to, and I can’t figure out were to check that. If the address is set properly, what could be causing this? This is resulting in many customer relations issues, because they think they sent us an email and we’re not answering.

  • Hi @rcsshipstaff

Based on your description, it seems the problem is likely with the configuration of the contact form plugin used in your website’s footer.

    Identify the plugin:

    • Look in your WordPress admin panel under “Plugins” to see which contact form plugin is active.
    • Common options include Contact Form 7, WPForms, Ninja Forms, or Gravity Forms.

    Configure the recipient email:

    • Once you’ve identified the plugin, navigate to its settings in the WordPress admin panel.
    • Look for a section called “Form Settings,” “Email Settings,” or something similar.
    • There should be a field to enter the recipient email address. Make sure this is set to a valid email address where you want to receive form submissions.

    Test the form:

    • After setting the recipient email, submit a test message through the form on your website.

    Documentation:

    • Consult the plugin’s official documentation or support forums for specific troubleshooting steps related to your particular contact form plugin.

This is not an e-mail block but a contact form which is operated with the commercial plugin GravityForms. I would therefore recommend that you contact their support if you have any questions: https://www.gravityforms.com/help/ – questions about commercial products cannot be answered here in the forum.
