Email button not working

After installing, I have tested all the share buttons, but found the email button (no matter which one) does not open an email client.

I have logged into all my email accounts and have them open on separate windows, but the email button only loads the ‘addtoany’ age and spinning wheel, I would suspect trying to load some sort of emailer.
