I have Optin Revolution Lite connected to my mailchimp list. The popup has readers input their email address, but our capture form on the mailchimp list also requires their event date. This is causing the popup to show an error popup after they input their email address. Can we not simply have the email address flow through to the list without the other required inputs? A better option would be for us to also have an input field for their event date on the initial popup. Is that possible?

Yes. You will need to create 2 forms.

Form 1 will have their email address only you will use this for Optin Revolution Lite.

The thankyou page from form 1 can be form 2.

When they fill in the popup they will be added to your list via form 1 then they can choose their date on form 2. I would pass the email address in the variable and prefill form 2 in with their email address.

Optin Revolution Pro uses the API and there is more flexibility there. Via the API Optin Revolution Pro integrates with MailChimp groups, but this is more for list segmentation.

I would need to know more about the event date, is it a custom field? Dropdown, Checkbox? Are they choosing or you?
