email completely broke

  • Hi.

    I am running wp 3.51 multisite. A few days ago all emails ceased. I have tried php and smtp. I have tried from the host email, gmail, and even an external third party smtp provider. I cannot get wp to send out one email from any site.

    Is there a diagnostic guide to help me troubleshoot this probelm?

  • Contact your web hosting in this matter, as their settings too can stop mails from reaching.

    I called GoDaddy after receiving a notice of “spam or virus”. They said there is nothing that they can do. I’ve tried to send out a totally stripped out test email with no luck. I also tried swapping out the wp-mail file.

    I am still email-less.
