Email confirmation issue after buying plugin

    In short, I purchased a WC plugin. I entered a valid email address and confirmed same. I logged out and back in again and cannot use my account in any way.

    In particular, since the One Page Checkout plugin does not work at all, because it is inactivated by WC, I need WC support to fix it. But there is no way to reach WC support.

    I made no errors. But even if I did, Automattic has a development problem if they manage to put folks in this trick bag. It simply should not be possible.

    I would note that in trying to resolve this issue, we seem to have ended up purchasing a plugin that we can’t use twice.

    Are you able to log in to your /admin area? If so, can you share with us a system status report of your system?

    Also, share your website address with us, this will help us to check it out for some additional issues.

    You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

    I can confirm that you have our premium extension active on your site, and understand that you are unable to access your WooCommerce.com account that the extension was originally purchased under.

    Thank you for following up. There was a somewhat random email address associated with a WooCommerce account that had been mangled through some copies of an old site from one place to another.

    What was never clear was why there was an option to setup an account email different from the one the site already thought it had.

    However, it appears that someone was able to access the Woo account remotely and change the email account associated – so all is well…except for the extra license that got purchased along the way. I’d hate to handle through the CC company. How can I get credit for that duplicate charge?
