Email Confirmation / Verification ?

    How is the email confirmation/verification supposed to work? Are users supposed to be sent a verification link? I have enabled the option and tried several combinations of other email settings but a confirmation/verification email is never sent. All the other email options seem to be working fine. If a user tries to login they get the “Login failed – you need to confirm your e-mail before you can log in” error, but still no email is sent.

    Hi sprinkle,

    The simplest thing to do, in this case, would be to put the [confirmation-link] shortcode in the email that is sent to users when they register. That will create the necessary link that they can click to confirm their email address.
