Hello, i am getting the below error and my contact form 7 emails are not sending.

EMAIL DELIVERY ERROR: the plugin WP Mail SMTP v2.7.0 logged this error during the last time it tried to send an email:

    Mailer: Default (none)
PHPMailer was able to connect to SMTP server but failed while trying to send an email.
Consider running an email test after fixing it.

i have google captcha V3 installed and the contact forms are Contact Form 7.

The test emails are working and i am using the default PHP mailer. I have already ticked the ‘Force From Email’ checkbox.

    Hi @warcher88,

Thanks for reaching out! If you’re using the ‘Default’ (PHP) mailer option under the WP Mail SMTP -> Settings (see), this is the method your site uses to send emails when SMTP plugin is not set up.

You can see all the available mailers from here, and configure a mailer of your choice. Once you configure a mailer, try testing your forms again.

    I hope this helps.

    Thanks!

ok i thought the default option would work. I will need to make an extra gmail account to have another go. I will get back to you.
