EMAIL DELIVERY ERROR: WP Mail SMTP v2.5.1

    Hi,

    I’m very happy about this plugin, thanks for creating it. Unfortunately with the last 2 updates we experience the issue that transactional emails are not going through.

    I checked with my hosting company, who wrote back that I have the correct records and email routing in order to send emails successfully.

    When testing, it seems that every time we try to use the plugin it causes processes to get stuck.

    There is also an error generated for the plugin:

    Call to a member function get_title() on null in /home/sweetyou/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/src/MailCatcherV6.php:93

    We looked in the file but cannot see anything that could cause an error.

    I would be really thankful for your help.

    Hi @bettib,

    which mailer are you using in our plugin?

    Are you using the “Other SMTP” mailer? Please send a test email in the “Email Test” section. After it fails, please click on the debug link at the end of the error notice and copy & paste that debug message here, so we can see what the actual error is.

    Super strange, but the issue disappeared, test email went out well. I hope it will be fine now. Thanks for your dedication to support us.
