I was testing the plugin and entered an existing email address upon registration, then I changed the front of the domain, i.e. [email protected] to [email protected] and it said the email exists, but that was not the case, it did that for [email protected] as well, until I actually changed the domain part like test2@domain_change.com, it seems there is a flaw in your code.

    Hi @metacofleurcom,

I’ve tested the above on my WP Instance and everything worked correctly in my case. Just to be sure of some things first:

    1. Could you please go to your site’s Dashboard -> Plugins -> Installed Plugins -> and send a full screenshot with everything you have installed related to Paid Member Subscriptions (make sure the plugin version can be seen)?
    2. Could you please provide the URL of the page where you have the PMS Registration form (where you encounter this issue)?

You can use a site like https://snipboard.io/ to share the screenshots.

    Best regards,

    Hi @metacofleurcom,

On your site: https://k5ebubmz3c-staging.onrocket.site/membership-subscription/, I’ve tried exactly with the examples you’ve provided and everything worked correctly.

I first registered with the following email address: test1@domain.com, after that I hard refreshed the page (CTRL+F5) and registered with test2@domain.com without encountering any issues. I’ve also tried with test[email protected] and again I got the same results.

Since the issue you initially encountered might have been because of caching, you can try the following steps:

    1. Do you use any caching plugins or caching functionalities? If so, could you please exclude our pages, the pages created with our shortcodes, especially the page where you have the PMS Register form ( [pms-register] ) from it, and check if the issue persists?

    2. If you have any caching enabled via a plugin or from your hosting, please disable them temporarily and check if the issue still persists.

    3. Please create a new page on your site and on this new page add only the PMS Register form ( [pms-register] )and check if the issue still persists.

Note: Also when testing this, try to test from an Incognito browser window or hard fresh your browser after each registration.
