email form on blog
-
hi, I’m trying some of the email plug-ins that was mentioned to me in another post.. but I need to be able to specify to what address email goes to (I mean otherwise these email ‘plugins’ are useless.. I also tried my own form (I know how to send email w/php), but get a 404 on thankyou.php in same dir where all other files are (where index.php is.. any file I put there (like test.php) get a 404..)
these plugins you can’t change email address..
in the forums indicated in the readme file (https://www.linksback.org/forums/wp-contact/18-contact-plugin.html) somebody asks precisely this question, and this is answer:
It is set to go to the default wordpress email. I will include an option to change that in the next version.
I think an email ‘plugin’ where you can’t specify to what address email gets sent to is pretty useless..
I need to do my own form, why do I get a 404 on thankyou.php in same dir where all other files (theme files) are??
thank you..
