    Is this normal expected behaviour? If I set the ‘From’ address in the email settings, any email being sent from any other plugin is also sent from that address, even if that plugin has it’s own ‘From’ setting.

    For example, I am using FluentCRM Pro to send out email campaigns/newsletters and it has it’s own ‘From’ address set (which is different than the one set in WooCommerce) but when sending out emails from FluentCRM they always come from the email address that is set in WooCommerce. I just noticed recently that this is happening, before FluentCRM emails were always sent with the ‘From’ address that was set in FluentCRM.

    I am also using the Delicious Brains SES Lite plugin and it too has it’s own ‘From’ address setting (which I set to be the same one as the FluentCRM ‘From’ address) but when sending a test email it too comes from the address set in WooCommerce.

    Is WooCommerce supposed to takeover the ‘From’ address system wide? If so, was this a recent change?

    This also applies to the ‘From’ name as well, not just the ‘From’ address.

    That is an unusual situation. I’m not aware of any changes that would cause this and I can’t duplicate it on my test site. I set up a simple contact form with Gravity Forms using a different email address from the WooCommerce one. It sent correctly.

    Is the site using any SMTP plugins/services? Those often will change the email address used to send emails for the entire site.

    If that’s not it, could you please send me a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it here.
