email function

  • Okay, I am not getting email. I do not have any smtp server set up on the machine that has wordpress. I do have an email server but it is on a different machine. I think the setting that I need to mess with is in the [mail] section of the php.ini. I have set the sendmail_path to the IP of the webserver with the -t switch and I still get an error “sh: my_IP: not found” I assume I am on the right setting since any changes are reflected in the error message.

    Please help, I am so close to having this work.
