I am testing SpeakOut! for the use on a large non-profit site. In my first test I put my gmail address in the target email field. The email didn’t appear to show up after I signed the petition so I looked in the spam folder. It said, ” It’s similar to messages that were detected by our spam filters.” Of course I don’t want emails going to my targets spam folder, so how do I avoid this?

    Hi,

Unfortunately there isn’t anything I can do about that. I assume your non-profit isn’t selling breast enhancement or anything similar. But the content of your email must look a little spammy. Try rewording it a bit.

Also make sure your domain has SPF and DKIM set up. These help authenticate a domain and prevent spam. Some mail servers won’t accept mail if there is no SPF. Your hosting service should be able to help you with that.

    Hope that helps.
