Email hosting

I haven’t seen one. Given the large amount of system-level stuff you’d have to do, this would probably be something custom.

Ultimately I am trying to set something up that my clients can go to and sign up for an email at my domain, it doesn’t have to be wordpress. Is there a way to do this?

It will be on a very small scale.

Just FYI, I’ve run my own mail servers in the past and it’s a grand pain in the butt. Spam, hacks, RBLS, and god forbid you’re down for 35 seconds. You and your clients would be a lot happier if you used a real mail provider. You could set yourself up to resell someone else’s service on a white label basis. (As this has nothing to do with WP, we should probably just end the discussion here. ?? )

What you’re asking for is not something that is widely supported. I spent a little time looking and I did find ONE plugin that allows you to create emails through the WordPress interface – cPanel email manager. The main catch is that it’s $30 in order to allow your users to create the email accounts, AND your hosting server must use cPanel. Also, it is specifically for cPanel hosting servers. There may be other plugins that allow you to create emails, but it will require further searching.
