Email ID???

Hi John,
Some wants email id field.
And some just want to show profile id or url
You have both options there
If you keep any field blank then it will not show up

What do you mean by “email ID field” – what is that?
And what is “profile ID or URL”?
Where do I find them and how to use that?

When you create a new team member you will find the email id filed under the Social Profile tab and you can add your profile id or url or Web URL on Team member information tab

I’m talking about the Email field which is the last field under Social Profile. Of course I understand that i can leave blank. No problem.

My question about this filed is what do you mean by Email ID?

What do you mean by “profile ID” and what is the “Team member information tab”? I’m really confused here…

Can you give examples of what we may enter in this field please?

My initial question was:
Do we have to enter here the full email address?
If we do that way the email address will display in full in the web page and this is not really great.

Which means that if we enter the real email address of somebody here, this will return a “mailto” entry in code and that means that the email address will be fully disclosed and this is not really very good because of spam robots.

I tried to enter a link to a contact form page but it doesn’t work as this field returns only a “mailto” code!

I think there is a confusion here with the term “ID” – ID generally means a number, not a link.
