Email invitations accepted without me doing so

  • I received an email this morning stating that I have been added to contribute to somebody else’s site. I never received an invite to accept, nor did I accept one, but now I have access to their WooCommerce store through the app on my phone.

    How do I cancel the contribution invitation? Will this store also have access to my WooCommerce store?

  • Hey there,

    The contributions are created from another website. You receive access to the website!

    Your website must be safe, as you would be required to send it from your website on your side.

    As for removing the contribution, you should be able to close the account in the Edit Profile or Accounts section in the wp-admin

    I would strongly suggest emailing them and telling them you received this invitation and asking them to remove it. Do not login to that site anymore because… well, they probably mistyped an email and added you instead of someone else.
