Email Issues

Hello,

I am running a new website, heartlandcollegesports.com based on Big 12 football. I am trying to toy with the email so I can send out a weekly email at my leisure to registered users. Yesterday I was playing around with it, and then I made a post to the site… I then got an email from Heartland College Sports about my recent post. I do not want this to happen every time I post. In email settings the only options are every post, hourly daily weekly etc… but I do not see the choice to send emails when I want, that’s it.

How do I change this setting so it is correct?
