• I have been using another permalink other than the default. The automatic response when subscribing the links do work and the confirmation link works.
After sending a test email the links in the email sent don’t open. Plus the formatting is justified right rather than centered. The template has the text centered why is it now showing right justified.

Continuing I have reinstalled the plugin the email confirmation link https://mysite.com?sendpress=eyJpZCI6MiwibGlzdGlkcyI6IjQyMyIsInZpZXciOiJjb25maXJtIn0%3D won’t click. If you cut and paste the code into a browser the browser responds by sending the confirmation. All other links created with sendpress= in the email (Twitter, facebook, unsubcribe & view in browser)don’t work. If you hover over link address in the edit mode they display the correct addresses.

We have a fix coming out soon which we think will address the permalink issue. If you follow us on Twitter we will post when it’s released.

    itdoug,

I ran the new update today, created a new email sent it. The email shows it arrived and was open but no clicks as the Sendpress embeded links still don’t work.I put an email address & weblink (no html code surrounding the email or weblink) in the email and these work when clicked.

    Here is the debug info

Well that is strange. I can see the tables got created so we can cross that off the list. Let me speak with the developers tomorrow.

Any chance you could try these 2 KB’s. They may be long shots but would rule out a couple things for the devs.

    Itdoug,

I deactivated every plugin except sendpress and the problem still exists.

I have permalink set to Post Names common settings

I deactivated Ultra theme by WPExplorer and the problem still exists.

We discussed this today and are having a hard time coming up with what might be causing the problem. Just out of curiosity, what operating system and Web server version are you running?

Do you have access to or can you create a clean install of WordPress and see if the problem happens then as well on your server?

Really appreciate your patience. Hopefully we can figure this out soon.

As above in the debug info – Windows

    Web Server Info: Apache/2.2.24 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.24 OpenSSL/1.0.0-fips mod_bwlimited/1.4 mod_perl/2.0.6 Perl/v5.10.1

No not able to do a clean as i don’t want to remove my working site to do that test.

Can forward the one email that the links work which was the very first one sent and send one email that doesn’t work would that help?

    Hi,

i have updated the plugin with a possible fix for your problem. Would you be able to install this test version.

    https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1362066/sp/0.9.3.5/sendpress.zip

I have switched the plugin to use a rewrite rule instead of the ?sendpress= you will need to send a new email to get links created with the new urls. Could you also send one to [email protected]

    Thanks,
    Josh

    (@110db)

    Ok
    1. deactivate and reactivate sendpress – done
    2. re-save your permalinks – Done

Now the preview works as normal, emails arrive and links now work, reports now work only thing is when viewing in browser email address doesn’t work as I removed the html code around the email address but I will work on that.

    Thanx for the great support.

    Hello,
