Email not delivered to hotmail

  • They are likely being filtered out by hotmail.

    I am going through process of configuring email to use SMTP , search for plugin (im using postman).

    Supposedly SMTP will not be spam filtered…let you know if it works.

    Not true at all.

    First, all mail is SMTP. An SMTP plugin lets you configure how you connect to an SMTP server with more detail. By default, WordPress sets common settings for you and they may be completely wrong.

    Second, besides the content of an email, the server that sent it affects the chances of an email being flagged as Spam. Without tweaking your SMTP settings, you can not ensure your email embarks on its journey through the approved server.

    except plugin dose not send activation emails to hotmail.
