Email not received after the forgot password?

  • Hi,
    i had update my wordpress system 3.5.2 to 4.2.2 and when i was reset the forgot password it was not send me the email notification and one more think i am now integrating payment gateway with woocommrece and when i purchase the product after that it should me send me the mail but it wont.
    and i had spend too much time on it try to fix . i had did all thing that mention on forum support like disable the plugin and enable one by one and install the wp-mail-smtp but it won’t work.
    if any one know plz help me to fix it off

  • Well, you can try one more time to get password that you already forgot. May be this time your luck will favor you, because it is a auto res-ponder kind of stuff, and hardly it fails.

    Hi sunil,
    i had try to many time to check both forgotpassword and woocommrece but the same result i found forgot passsword is not my problem the thing is i just want get the email after the purchasing any product so for that i had cross check forgot password.
    so can you please help me to fix this bug.

    I am not getting the e-mail for the confirmation link either. Tried several times. Is the WP autoresponder down or something??

    Have a read of this codex: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/FAQ_Troubleshooting#E-mailed_passwords_are_not_being_received – Also, ask your hosting provider if any of their SMTP filtering rules have changed recently.

    @chris11159, as per the forum rules, please start your own thread. That way you stand a good chance of getting full attention to your specific issue. Despite any similarity in symptoms, your issue is likely to be completely different because of possible differences in physical servers, accounts, hosts, plugins, theme, configurations, etc. Thus one problem, on one setup is not indicative of the functionality and reliability of an application as a whole.     You guys should try using an SMTP plugin. If your mail is not set up right, you’re not going to get any email, even the password reset email.

    Hi Postman SMTP,
    i had try SMTP, SMTP-mail but i found the same result.
    now i had try the postman-smtp but now it gives me the same error

    Postman: wp_mail has been declared by another plugin or theme, so you won’t be able to use Postman until the conflict is resolved.

    If you run the Diagnostic Test, you will see a line that begins:

    Postman Bind

    followed by a long filename. That filename tells you what is already using wp_mail.
