    I am not really sure if this is a problem with the WP lite plug-in or something not working correctly within my email at hosting site. I am using shared hosting (Is first time I have used this as well as migrating to a different host on my own so this has definitely been/is a learning process for me)

    I’m using the WP lite plug-in on 2 of my blogs. It works perfectly on one of them but for some reason it doesn’t on the other. When I fill out the information and hit submit the green message appears saying “Thanks for contacting us! We will be in touch with you shortly.” The submission never arrives at the email, though. (I have checked the spam just in case)

    I’m in the process of migrating my sites to a new host and have never done this before on my own so it is very possible that there is something I’m not doing correctly. Am not blaming the WP lite plug-in for my problem, just asking if anyone might have any suggestions on why this is happening or if there is something I can do to correct this.

    I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues with email delivery.

    To troubleshoot the issue, you can check that your form notification settings are configured correctly by following our tutorial.

    If your notification settings are correct, the issue is likely because the emails sent from WordPress are not authenticated (unlike emails sent directly from dedicated email service providers). As a result, they are likely to be filtered by the receiving mail server.

    To resolve email delivery issues like this, you can configure a SMTP plugin on your site so that emails are sent as authenticated. We have an article with a list of recommended SMTP options and links to their setup tutorials.
