• Dear Ewout,

My plugin works fine, I have it connected to SMTP server, Woocommerce sends out emails but the PDF attachment is not there? Any solution for this?

Hi! Could you post a screenshot of your attachment settings under WooCommerce > PDF Invoices > Documents > Invoice?
Which email are you looking to attach the invoice to specifically?

@solvidwordpress There’s no such thing as PM here and please don’t ask for that. I’ve redacted your post.

You can upload a screenshot to https://snag.gy/ and share the link to that screenshot.

    Hi @solvidwordpress,

Our plugin attaches an invoice to the WooCommerce emails you’ve selected in the ‘Als bijlage toevoegen aan’ option. At the moment you’ve only selected the ‘Nieuwe bestelling’ email. This is the email that goes to the shop owner, letting them know a new order is placed.

To send your invoice to a customer you can for instance select ‘Bestelling afgerond en/of verzonden’. This will attach an invoice to the email that goes to the customer when an order is set to completed.

I hope this answers your question.
    With kind regards,

    Michael

    Daar Michael,

Thank You for your time. I understand, but The attachment is not attached to me as admin for a New order. I receive the order without attachment.

    Hi @solvidwordpress,

Sorry for the confusion, I understand your question now. So you get the WooCommerce new order email but without the invoice. Are you running the latest version of our plugin (2.1.5) and are you getting any specific errors in your debug log?

    With kind regards,

    Michael

    Dear Michael,

All is latest version and yes I do get the WooCommerce email but not the PDF invoice. I can check the debugging mode.

@solvidwordpress are you by any chance using the MultiSafePay gateway? There’s a known issue with old versions of the gateway plugin (2.x), which have been solved in 3.X
    https://www.multisafepay.com/nl_nl/oplossingen/shop-plug-ins/detail/plugins/woocommerce/
Strangely enough, Multisafepay doesn’t push updates via www.ads-software.com, so you always have to manually update that plugin.

No I use the Cardgate plugin…

I see, that does trigger my memory though, and I found this thread of an error that was triggered by the Cardgate plugn: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/plugin-conflict-166/
As you can see I already mentioned in that thread:

You may want to test whether invoice attachments still work for orders placed with that gateway.

Apparently the Cardgate plugin triggers emails earlier than normal (other gateways), when the PDF documents are not defined yet. Could you try placing an order with another gateway or temporarily deactivate the Cardgate plugin to see if that resolves the issue. That at least narrows it down so we can see if there’s something we can do about this.

Let us know what you find!
