Hello, i’m trying the plugin to add a funtionality to my site.
It works very well regarding the process of creating the post after the submission of the form. The problem is that now i don’t receive the submission email from the form itself.
Is there a way to force the form to sent a mail after submission? it’s a configuration problem?

someone else reported a similar issue with the latest version 6.0 of the plugin.

can you please downgrade to v5.6.1 and let me know if it works.

    Hello,

I’m facing the same issue with your plugin.

I have two forms on my site. One is a regular contact form, and the other is an event registration form that uses “Post My CF7 Form”.

With version 6.0, the event form correctly registers the CPT, but I don’t receive an email for the regular contact form.

With version 5.6.1, both forms work correctly, and I receive the emails.

I hope a solution can be found soon. Thank you for your work on this plugin and for your assistance.

    Best regards,

Same issue here. I am downgrading and waiting for a fix ??

PS: v6.0 is a big reqrite to comply with the WP plugin standard which includes a number of security improvements. So v6 will likely have a few bugs that needs to be ironed out before it is produciton ready.

Hello everyone, could you kindly test the latest fix (pre-release on github). I would appreciate it if you can manually upgrade your site and let me know if the problem is solved before I release on the WP repo.

    Hi,
i will check it today on a dev site of mine and report back.
    cheers

    Hi,

    i get this:

Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function c2p_get_form_key()
    in /wp-content/plugins/post-my-contact-form-7/public/class-cf7-2-post-public.php on line 177

let me now when you fixed it, i will then check back.

@netzgestaltung thanks for the feedback, the error is likely if you are using the Smart-Grid layout extension as these 2 plugins share a common library and I have to update it on the smart grid too.
I think its best I change the namespace for the common library going forward as this will cause less confusion. I changed it in v6.0.1rc3. Can you kindly try this version and let me know if it works for you.

v6.0.1 fixes this issue, please upgrade and let me know if it works for you too.

Sorry i was a bit absent the last days.
I will check out 6.0.3 on my dev instance.

Email was sent, also had no fatal errors with 6.0.3 on PHP 7.4.33 with Smart Grid Plugin installed also.

    Wonderful. thanks for the feedback.

PS: if you have some spare time, I would much appreciate some help in testing out the new Smart Grid v5.0. It is in beta mode, with version beta11 now quite stable with much the admin UI completely changed and the front-end no longer dependent on jquery-ui library and styling.

    Please note:

    • forms created with plugins prior to v5 will continue to use the UI/front-end of v4.x plugin.
    • only v5 forms will use the new admin UI and optimised front-end.

At this point I need some help to test v4.x forms and working properly, so as to minimise the impact on live sites when the new version is released.
