Email notification for new blog comments: permalinks do not include pagination

I have Jetpack’s comment notification enabled, so that my commenters can check a box to receive email notification for new comments on posts they’ve commented on.

I also have comment pagination enabled, because sometimes comment threads get quite long.

A commenter just reported this:

When comments go on to multiple pages, and I’m subscribed to comments via email, I’ll get a link to go straight to the comment. But the link will be

Does Jetpack’s comment notification simply not support paginated comments?
